The UK’s largest free street art festival, Southend City Jam, returns from 29 to 31 August 2025. Applications are now open for artists worldwide to transform the streets of Southend-on-Sea into a vibrant, open-air gallery.

Now celebrating its fourth year, City Jam will welcome hundreds of renowned and emerging street artists to create stunning, large-scale murals across more than 100 city centre and seafront walls. This festival is a true celebration of urban art, graffiti culture, and creative expression.

A collaboration between Southend-on-Sea City Council and street artists @ster.upc and @ekto.1, City Jam has become a cornerstone event in the UK’s street art scene, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
